The biggest challenge; how to embrace such a complex concept. A total rebranding for AEJMC (Association in Education of Journalism and Mass Communication).
Question:
What does Journalism and Mass Communication stand today for?
Studio HB developed a new brand for the AEJMC, along with a new theme, ‘Improving today, achieving tomorrow’. In this brand the “red pin point” has the lead. The invention of this shape that functions as a pin point mark, at the same time evokes associations with direction, balance and precision. It is a start point, and in relation to “tomorrow” the brand is equipped as well as a cross mark, referring to the will, the future, the progression and direction. From point A to B.
To understand the AEJMC brand, values and aspirations I conducted research and distilled the company’s core values.
