Project commissioned by Hollands Lof, Haarlem. Presented with other concepts.
The national mail service company TNT Post, introduced QR code and its multi purpose applications in the Netherlands.
The brief started with the question on how to adress potential QR code users and consumers. What is QR code and what can be used for?
Using website for promotion and print material, we developed a graphic line to explain what QR code is and can be used for. We replaced words, phrases and websites for QR codes in order for people to deceiver the campaign as it was getting released. We introduced a brochure in which we gathered material of people using QR code in many several ways… The surprise was to find that QR code was an extended tool used in very creative projects. It seemed that its propagation was more successful under cultural initiatives rather than in a commercial level.
Our task was to unveil and explore the ways in which QR code could be used. And introducing a new way to communicate.
